Directions
- 1Add olive oil to a Dutch oven over medium heat.
- 2Add diced yellow onion, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- 3Cook until onions are tender.
- 4Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- 5Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- 6Brown the ground beef.
- 7Make room for tomato paste in the middle and cook it for a few minutes.
- 8Bring it all together
- 9Add beef broth and heavy cream, then bring to a light boil.
- 10Add pasta shells, lower to simmer, and cook until tender.
- 11Add cheddar cheese.
- 12Taste and season as needed.
- 13Plate and garnish with chives.
