Directions
- 1Add half a cup of sugar to a bowl.
- 2Add some lemon zest to the sugar.
- 3Mix the lemon zest and sugar together with your hands to create lemon sugar.
- 4Add one cup of flour to the lemon sugar mixture.
- 5Add a smidge of baking powder.
- 6Add three quarters of a cup of melted butter.
- 7Mix the ingredients together.
- 8Add one egg at a time, mixing after each addition.
- 9Add some lemon juice.
- 10Add one and a half more cups of flour to the mixture.
- 11Form little balls with the dough.
- 12Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a baking dish.
- 13Put the baking dish into the oven.
- 14Make the icing by adding butter, cream cheese, lemon juice, and one and a half cups of powdered sugar to a bowl.
- 15Take the baked cookies out of the oven.
- 16Drizzle the icing onto the lemon cookies.
- 17Enjoy the lemon cookies.
