Add a 3.5 pound corned beef to your Dutch oven.

Sprinkle the included spice packet over the corned beef.

Add a quarter cup of brown sugar and massage it into the corned beef.

Pour two cans of Guinness around the sides of the corned beef.

Put the lid on and put the whole thing in the oven at 300 degrees for two hours.

Take the lid off and add some halved potatoes, carrots, and roughly chopped onions.

Push the vegetables into the broth as much as you can.

Put the lid back on and put it back in the oven for one more hour.

Take the lid off and add one head of chopped cabbage.

Put the lid on and put it back in the oven for another hour.

Take the lid off and check if the corned beef is done by using a fork.

Set the corned beef aside and take out the vegetables.

Cut and plate the corn beef and vegetables, then pour the juices on top.
