Directions

Cut about 3/4 of a pound of bacon into small pieces.

Toss the bacon into your pan.

Add one little yellow onion to the pan with the bacon.

Clean up the fat from one nice slab of ham until you have nothing but meat.

Dice the ham into small chunks and toss it into the pan.

Slice around the core of a medium-sized head of cabbage.

Cut the big pieces of cabbage into little slivers, then go back across to get it into little chunks.

Add the cabbage to the pan with the bacon grease.

Give a heavy sprinkling of Dan O's Butter Dust.

Add about two tablespoons of Dan O's Italiano.

Sprinkle about one tablespoon of Dan O's OG and one tablespoon of Dan O's Spicy.

Mix everything up.

Put a lid on the pan to speed up the cooking process.

Cook for about 3 minutes on the low end of medium-high heat.

Give it a mix and let it keep cooking.

After about 10 minutes, turn off the heat if you like a little bit of crunch in your cabbage.

Transfer the cooked dish.

0.75 pound bacon
1 little yellow onion
1 slab ham
1 head medium-sized head of cabbage

Dan O's Butter Dust
2 tablespoons Dan O's Italiano
1 tablespoon Dan O's OG
1 tablespoon Dan O's Spicy

Tips
Do not add chicken stock or water, the bacon grease is enough.
Cook for about 10 minutes if you like a little crunch in your cabbage.
A touchula spatula is recommended for easy scraping.
