Directions

1Combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and a sprinkle of sugar in a bowl.
2Mix the ingredients together until they resemble wet sand.
3Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch dish.
4Use a spoon to pack the mixture down evenly.
5Bake the crust at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes.
6Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
7Add three cans of sweetened condensed milk into the bowl.
8Add one cup of sour cream or Greek yogurt to the bowl.
9Mix the ingredients together.
10Add one cup of lime juice and two teaspoons of vanilla extract.
11Mix the wet ingredients together.
12Add a tablespoon of lime zest to the bowl.
13Put a little mixture in there and mix it with egg yolks and add it back in.
14Mix all ingredients together.
15Pour the filling over the crust.
16Smooth the filling out evenly.
17Bake at 325 for 18 to 20 minutes.
18Whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
19Add powdered sugar to taste.
20Add whipped topping on top of the key lime pie bars.
21Top with some lime zest.

Tips

Mix graham crackers, butter and sugar, then press down in a 9 x13 pan.
Bake crust at 350 for 8-10 mins
Mix sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, vanilla, sour cream or greek yogurt and egg yolks, then pour over graham cracker crust.
Bake at 325 for 18-20 mins
Let cool completely then top with topping.
For the topping, mix heavy cream and powdered sugar and sprinkle with lime zest.
