Directions
- 1Add 1 and 1/4 cups of warm water to the bread machine pan.
- 2Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the bread machine pan.
- 3Add 2 tablespoons of molasses to the bread machine pan.
- 4Add 2 tablespoons of melted butter (or vegetable oil) to the bread machine pan.
- 5Add 2 cups of bread flour to the bread machine pan.
- 6Add 1 and 1/4 cups of wheat flour to the bread machine pan.
- 7Add 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt to the bread machine pan.
- 8Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the bread machine pan.
- 9Add 2 teaspoons of brown sugar to the bread machine pan.
- 10Add 2 and 1/4 teaspoons of dry active yeast to the bread machine pan.
- 11Place the bread machine pan into the bread machine.
- 12Select the "sweet bread" setting (or "basic") and choose a medium crust.
- 13After the leavening finishes, brush egg wash and add dry oats to the top of the loaf before the baking cycle starts.
- 14Once baked, remove the bread from the machine using oven mitts.
- 15Slice the bread.
- 16Serve and enjoy.
