Directions
1
Make a simple marinade with Bachan's roasted garlic, sesame oil, garlic, honey, and black pepper.
2
Mix all marinade ingredients together.
3
Lay your pork steaks into a dish, ensuring they are fully covered with the marinade.
4
Let the pork steaks marinate for at least four hours, or preferably overnight.
5
Season both sides of the pork steaks with Killer Hogs TX rub for full coverage.
6
Place the pork steaks onto a 300° preheated smoker using a two-zone fire.
7
After 30 minutes, move the pork steaks to the direct zone of the smoker to get nice flavor and char.
8
When the pork steaks are around 170°, wrap them up in foil with your leftover marinade.
9
Throw the wrapped pork steaks back onto the smoker.
10
Let them cook until they are probe tender and read around 205° internal temperature.
