Mix together thyme, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, cumin, salt, and pepper to create the dry rub.

Sprinkle liquid smoke over the brisket.

Rub the dry spice mixture all over the brisket.

Pour barbecue sauce into the crock pot.

Add Worcestershire sauce to the crock pot.

Place the seasoned brisket right on top of the sauce in the crock pot.

Cook on low for about 8 hours or until fork-tender.

Remove the brisket from the crock pot.

Slice the brisket.

Pour some sauce over the sliced brisket.

Serve on a bun with extra sauce.

3 pounds beef brisket, trimmed of fat
0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1.5 cups barbeque sauce
