Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Directions
- 1Add the melted butter to a bowl.
- 2Add the brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- 3Whisk for 1-2 minutes until a smooth paste forms.
- 4Crack in the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- 5Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet batter and gently fold until just combined.
- 6Add chocolate chips and mix with a spatula.
- 7Scoop out 9 cookies onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
- 8Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the edges and gooey in the center.
