- 7Remove the applesauce from the heat and, while still hot, add four packets of gelatin.
- 8Mix the gelatin thoroughly into the applesauce.
- 9Add 1 tablespoon of sugar to the mixture and mix until combined.
- 10Let the mixture sit until it reaches room temperature, about 15 minutes.
- 11Pour the cooled apple mixture into a stand mixer bowl.
- 12Whip the mixture for 20 minutes until it becomes light and fluffy.
- 13Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- 14Pour the whipped apple mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- 15Even out the surface of the mixture with a spatula.
- 16Cover the dish with cling wrap.
- 17Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or overnight, to allow the marshmallow to set.
- 18Once set, remove the marshmallow from the dish and peel off the parchment paper.
- 19Cut the apple marshmallow into cubes.
- 20Taste the apple marshmallows.
