- 1Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, and sugar in a bowl and mix with a hand mixer.
- 2Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix again.
- 3In a separate bowl, add the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt and whisk to combine.
- 4Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well using a spatula.
- 5Scoop out portions of the dough using a cookie scoop and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- 6Press down in the center of each cookie to create an indentation.
- 7In a bowl, add chocolate chips and pour hot heavy cream over them, then stir until smooth to make a ganache.
- 8Spoon the chocolate ganache into the indentations of the baked cookies.
- 9Decorate the cookies with sprinkles.
