Directions
- 1Melt butter in a pot until it turns brown.
- 2Add brown sugar to a bowl.
- 3Add white or cane sugar to the bowl.
- 4Pour the brown butter into the bowl with the sugars.
- 5Mix the brown butter and sugars.
- 6Add an egg and egg yolk to the mixture.
- 7Add vanilla extract to the mixture.
- 8Mix until combined.
- 9Add flour to the mixture.
- 10Add more flour.
- 11Add baking soda and salt.
- 12Mix the dough until fully combined.
- 13Open and cut the chocolate bar into small pieces.
- 14Cut pistachios into small pieces.
- 15Add chopped chocolate to the cookie dough.
- 16Add chopped pistachios to the cookie dough.
- 17Form a 2oz ball of cookie dough.
- 18Flatten the dough ball on a baking pan lined with a silicon mat.
- 19Place a small dollop of pistachio cream in the center of the flattened dough.
- 20Roll the dough back into a ball to enclose the pistachio cream.
- 21Repeat the process for remaining cookies.
- 22Bake the cookies at 350F for 11-12 minutes.
- 23Let the cookies cool.
- 24Top the cooled cookies with sprinkling salt.
