Directions
- 1Cut the brown butter brookies into squares.
- 2Add 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/3 cup white sugar to a mixing bowl.
- 3Mix the ingredients together.
- 4Add 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla to the mixture.
- 5Add 1 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 tsp baking soda.
- 6Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- 7Add 250g chocolate chips.
- 8Fold the chocolate chips into the mixture.
- 9Set the cookie dough aside.
- 10Add 1 cup butter to a pan and melt it to brown butter.
- 11Add 60g semi-sweet chocolate, 1/2 cup cocoa, and 3 tbsp oil to the pan.
- 12Mix until well combined.
- 13Crack 3 eggs into a mixing bowl.
- 14Add 1/2 cup brown sugar.
- 15Mix the eggs and brown sugar until combined.
- 16Add 1 3/4 cup powdered sugar.
- 17Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture.
- 18Add 1/2 cup flour.
- 19Gently fold the flour into the batter.
- 20Add 3/4 cup chocolate chips.
- 21Pour the brownie batter as the first layer into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- 22Scoop the reserved cookie dough onto the brownie batter.
- 23Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough as the second layer.
- 24Spread the second layer of brownie batter evenly.
- 25Scoop more cookie dough on top of the second brownie layer.
