Directions
- 1Add 1/3 glass of sugar to a bowl.
- 2Crack 2 eggs into the bowl with sugar.
- 3Add 1/3 teaspoon of salt.
- 4Mix the ingredients well with a fork until combined.
- 5Pour 1/3 glass of sunflower oil into the mixture.
- 6Mix again until well combined.
- 7Sift 2 glasses of flour into a separate bowl.
- 8Add baking powder to the flour.
- 9Add vanillin to the flour mixture.
- 10Mix the dry ingredients together.
- 11Pour the wet egg and sugar mixture into the dry flour mixture.
- 12Mix everything with a spatula until a dough forms.
- 13Knead the dough until smooth.
- 14Divide the dough into two equal halves.
- 15Add 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder to one half of the dough.
- 16Knead the cocoa into the dough until it's evenly colored brown.
- 17Take a small piece of light dough and a small piece of dark dough and roll them into thin ropes.
- 18Twist the light and dark ropes together.
- 19Roll the twisted dough to further combine and lengthen it.
- 20Cut the long twisted dough into smaller pieces.
- 21Shape each piece into a candy cane by bending one end.
- 22Place the shaped cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 23Sprinkle sugar over the candy cane cookies.
- 24Bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 180°C.
