Directions
- 1Bring the water to a boil.
- 2Add sugar and whisk until sugar granules are melted.
- 3Add in your chocolate and other ingredients.
- 4Keep on medium high heat and cook, whisking constantly for about 5-7 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup tap water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 oz dark chocolate
- 2 TBSP butter, salted
- 2 TBSP agave nectar
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.25 tsp kosher or sea salt
- 0.25 cup ovaltine or malted milk powder
Tips
- You can serve right off the stovetop or chill, and it will thicken up after cooling.
- Malt powder is a bonus but not necessary.
