To a pot, add one cup of water and half a cup of maple syrup or honey.

Heat until dissolved and you can add one cup of cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, and a teaspoon of vanilla.

Whisk together and heat up on the stove until it starts to thicken.

Take off the heat and add your vanilla.

Pour into a container.

Store in the fridge for 2-3 months.
