Directions
- 1Mix brown sugar and softened butter in a mixing bowl.
- 2In another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- 3Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix.
- 4Add an egg and mix well.
- 5Knead the dough and shape it into a ball.
- 6Place the dough in a ziploc bag and flatten it slightly.
- 7Roll out the dough to an even thickness.
- 8Cut the dough into square shapes using a cookie cutter.
- 9Place chocolate chips on top of the cookies.
- 10Bake the cookies at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
