Directions
- 1Measure out 2 1/4 cups or 270 grams of all-purpose flour.
- 2Microwave the flour in 20 second intervals, stirring in between, until it reaches 165 Fahrenheit.
- 3Alternatively, spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for about 12 minutes or until 165 Fahrenheit.
- 4Melt 1 cup or 226 grams of unsalted butter.
- 5Add 50 grams or 1/4 cup of granulated sugar to the melted butter.
- 6Mix the butter and sugar with a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
- 7Add 275 grams or 1 1/4 cups of light brown sugar.
- 8Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- 9Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
- 10Add 2 tablespoons of milk.
- 11Mix until nicely incorporated.
- 12Add the cooled flour and mix on low until almost combined.
- 13Add 2 cups of mini chocolate chips and fold in until evenly distributed.
- 14Scoop out individual portions of cookie dough and place them onto a baking sheet.
- 15Chill in the refrigerator or freezer.
