Directions
- 1Combine butter, sugar & vanilla in a bowl.
- 2Mix until creamy and slightly light.
- 3Sieve & add the dry ingredients and mix well.
- 4Gradually add the milk and mix.
- 5Finally add curd and mix to make a smooth batter. Do not overmix.
- 6Grease your microwave safe glass dish or bowl lightly using butter & place a butter paper at the base of the dish.
- 7Pour batter into the dish and level gently.
- 8Microwave on 600–700W (medium power) for 3-3.5 minutes.
- 9Rest inside microwave for 1 minute after cooking and then cool completely in the dish.
- 10Add milk, fresh cream, and condensed milk into a bowl & mix everything until smooth to create the Tres Leches Milk Mixture.
- 11Once the sponge is fully cooled, cut it into two equal parts for easier serving later.
- 12Poke deep holes all over the sponge using a skewer or a toothpick.
- 13Pour half of the milk mixture gradually onto the sponge.
- 14Cover & refrigerate the cake for half an hour for topping and serving.
- 15Once the cake is set, top it with some whipped cream.
- 16If strawberries are in season, thinly slice and decorate the cake.

- 0.5 tsp Vanilla essence
- 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 0.25 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 0.33 cup Milk
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Fresh cream
- 2 tbsp Condensed milk
- Whipped cream
- Strawberries, thinly sliced

Tips
- Do not overmix the batter.
- Ensure the batter sits well below halfway in the dish as it will rise significantly.
