Directions

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Melt butter and a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Add the pork chops to the pan and fry until golden on both sides, then set aside.

Add chopped onions to the same pan and sauté until golden.

Add chopped garlic and stir until browned.

Stir in the cornstarch.

Pour in the chicken broth and stir to combine.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Return the pork chops to the pan, submerge them in the sauce, and cook for 5 minutes.

Garnish with parsley and green onions to serve.
