Brown ground beef in a pan with oil, drain, then stir in taco seasoning, salsa, and diced green chili. Set aside.

Gently break up tortilla chips and place into a mixing bowl.

Add the meat mixture, enchilada sauce, and a handful of shredded cheese to the bowl and mix well to coat.

Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Add a layer of cheese on top and cover with foil.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees.

Remove the foil once finished. Optionally bake longer if you prefer toastier cheese, then let cool before serving.

Top with sour cream and sliced black olives if desired.

1 large can enchilada sauce
