Sear the steak in a hot pan with olive oil until golden on all sides, then remove and set aside.

Add the diced onion and red pepper to the same pan, scraping up the browned bits, and sauté for 15 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes to the pan and sauté for 20 minutes.

Return the seared steak to the pan, pour in the red wine, and add water.

Cover and simmer on low heat for 2.5 hours.

Remove the cooked steak, add a pinch of sugar and salt to the remaining sauce, and blend with an immersion blender until smooth.

Shred the meat and combine it with the pasta and prepared sauce.

Stir in the cubed cheddar cheese until slightly melted.

0.5 l red wine

1 pinch sugar

1 bowl pasta (macaroni)
1 bowl cheddar cheese, cubed
